Summary

ChatTrace - Chat History for Twitch lets you view available public Twitch chat history for a selected chatter without leaving Twitch. The extension does not require an account, collect analytics, show advertising, or operate its own server.

Information Used

While you use the extension on Twitch, ChatTrace reads the current channel login and the login of the chatter whose profile card you select. It uses these values only to request the corresponding chat history and related public display data.

External Services

ChatTrace sends requests directly from your browser to the following services:

These services receive the request data needed to respond, such as the selected channel or chatter login where applicable. They may process standard connection data, such as your IP address, under their own privacy policies. ChatTrace does not control those services.

Storage and Retention

ChatTrace keeps a short-lived in-memory cache of loaded messages while the current Twitch page is open. It does not use a database, sync data to a ChatTrace server, or persist chat history after the page is closed.
